A group of people walk together through a park during a community Walk for Truth event. The lead participant wears a "Walk for Truth" T-shirt and Aboriginal flag cap while carrying clapsticks, with other walkers following along a tree-lined path in a show of solidarity and reconciliation.

Mannifera is reshaping how philanthropy reaches First Nations communities, placing decision-making in the hands of First Nations leaders and backing locally led solutions that drive long-term economic empowerment.

Our partnership supports Mannifera’s First Nations-led Practice, an advisory panel of First Nations experts who set priorities, design grantmaking processes, guide decision-making, and select organisations across Australia focused on economic empowerment.

For many organisations, this represents their first access to core funding, strengthening capacity and improving outcomes for First Nations communities.

Mannifera’s approach places strong emphasis on resourcing First Nations women-led solutions, supporting organisations in regions often overlooked by philanthropy, and investing in the organisational backbone required for long-term impact.

Beyond funding, Mannifera plays a critical role as a trusted, culturally safe partner, connecting organisations into philanthropic networks and supporting long term sustainability, with decisions led by community. Learn more by visiting their website.
