A criminal record should never be viewed as an automatic disqualification for employment

A criminal record should never be viewed

Breaking Barriers, a new initiative of Success Works, is tailored to support and equip women with criminal records to secure meaningful employment – particularly women who face long-term unemployment after prison.

The Judith Neilson Foundation’s partnership with Success Works will help provide one-to-one support from women with lived experience, mentoring, job readiness support, and introductions to a network of fair-go employers. Because Success Works believes that a criminal record should never be viewed as an automatic disqualification for employment.
