In the crowded informal settlements of Nairobi, Kenya, and Lusaka, Zambia, sanitation is a critical challenge. Fresh Life, a social enterprise, is tackling this problem through a model focused on sanitation access, waste management, scale and long-term sustainability.
HowWeSurvive, a new initiative funded by the Judith Neilson Foundation, was launched yesterday with a mission to transform disaster recovery practices by focusing on community strength and resilience. With a 40-year vision, this project aims to reshape how communities in Australia and beyond approach recovery from disasters.
