Across Kenya and Uganda, women affected by conflict are organising, healing, and leading. ActionAid is backing their leadership through ‘African Women Voices for Peace’, a pioneering regional network that connects survivors of sexual violence, strengthens grassroots organisations, and amplifies women’s voices in national and regional peacebuilding.

Led by a coalition of women’s rights organisations, the program creates safe spaces, supports economic recovery, and builds the confidence, skills, and networks women need to drive change in their communities and beyond.
